#S642  The purpose of this bill is to extend for an additional five year period New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association's (NYPIUA) authority to provide consumers with enhanced property insurance coverage.

#S2040  This chapter amendment conforms the kilovolt threshold forutility transmission facilities more closely to existing regulations, makes several technical amendments, and clarifies that environmental impact summaries can be provided to affected utility customers and elected officials in the notice.

#S1643  Amends the vehicle and traffic law to increase the fines for dumping snow in a handicapped parking space. The fine would increase from $25 to $125 for the first offense and from $100 to $250 for the second and any subsequent offense. Authorizes local governments to establish higher fines than what is identified above.

#S1978  Establishes the legislative task force on responsible gaming to develop policies and procedures that foster responsible gaming practices by gaming facilities in New York state.

#S2862  Relates to the number of signatures for designating petitions for 2019; provides such shall be reduced by one-quarter, rounded down to the nearest whole number.

#S1875  Relates to extending the amount of time between notice of a project and a public hearing.

#S1146  Requires an electronic version of a town clerk's sign-board on a town website and a link to the sign-board to appear on the town website's homepage.

#S2355  Directs the department of state and the public service commission to study and report upon the prevalence of the disclosure by public utilities, cable television companies and cellular telephone service providers to credit reporting agencies of late payments and defaults in payment of fees and charges by consumers.
