#S509  This legislation seeks to allow an individual under the age of 18 to play bingo as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

#S2314  EXTENDER BILL - Extends the provisions relating to the New York state thoroughbred breeding and development fund until nine years after the commencement of the operation of a video lottery terminal facility at Aqueduct racetrack.

#S2315  EXTENDER BILL - Amends the opening paragraph of subdivision 2 of section 228 of the Racing Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law to extend, for one year, the authorization for the horsemen's organization to receive anadditional 1.0% of purse monies collected from race meetings at Aqueduct, Saratoga, and Belmont racetracks until August 31, 2020.

#S3161A  Designates a portion of the state highway system as the "Sergeant Jeremy J. VanNostrand Memorial Highway".

#S1721  This bill requires the Workers Compensation Board to provide translation and interpretation services of all documents and forms used by or issued to injured employees in the six most common non-English languages spoken by individuals with limited-English proficiency. The bill also requires the board to establish a language access plan in compliance with its provisions and monitored by a language access coordinator at the board.

#S1870B  Requires the submission of a twenty-year capital needs assessment to the metropolitan transportation authority capital program review.

#S877A  Provides that an affirmation of a health care practitioner may be served or filed in an action in lieu of and with same force and effect as an affidavit (changes the current reference in existing provisions from "physician, osteopath or dentist" to "health care practitioner").

#S1826C  Enacts the "New York call center jobs act"; requires prior notice of relocation of call center jobs from New York to a foreign country; directs the commissioner of labor to maintain a list of employers who move call center jobs; prohibits loans or grants.

#S435  This legislation allows unpaid taxes to be collected in one aggregate payment, rather than in one-year increments.

#S1799  This bill authorizes a health care practitioner, who is a licensed physician, or, in a hospital, a staff physician to prescribe antibiotic drugs for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in addition to chlamydia trachomatis infections, to their patient’s sexual partner or partners without an examination. Such additional STIs would be identified pursuant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations regarding the use of expedited partner therapy.

#S3543  CHAPTER AMENDMENT - This bill clarifies the coverage requirements under the Comprehensive Contraception Coverage Act (CCCA) to include vasectomies and certain over-the-counter contraceptive products. NOTE - the Comprehensive Contraception Coverage Act, which this bill would be amending, has yet to be delivered to the Governor.

#S3637  This bill would lengthen the timeframe in which an insurer must complete a lost policy search in the lost policy finder system by increasing the timeframe from 30-45 days to 60 days.

#S4081  To clarify that assessment cooperative property and casualty insurance companies are authorized to write umbrella insurance policies and standalone liability coverage.

#S4413  CHAPTER AMENDMENT - This bill extends (60 days) the timeframe an employer must provide within their employee handbook a notice of employee rights and remedies related to the prohibition of discrimination based on an employee's or a dependent's reproductive health decision making.
