SENATOR ANTONACCI NAMED TO THE INTERNET AND TECHNOLOGY SUBCOMMITTEE

Senator Robert E. Antonacci II (R-I-C-UJP, Onondaga) was named a member of an additional New York State Senate Committee. Senator Antonacci will serve on the Internet and Technology Subcommittee.
The temporary committee on Science, Technology, Incubation And Entrepreneurship and the task force on Technology and Innovation which existed last session have been combined into a new subcommittee on Internet and Technology.
“Access to the internet is necessary to help grow the upstate economy,” said Senator Antonacci. “I am hopeful that this committee will explore policies and programs that promote innovative technologies that can be used to grow businesses in Central New York and across the State.”
Senator Antonacci previously was named a member of the Senate Finance Committee. He was also named Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Banks and the Senate Subcommittee on Revenue and Budget.
