SENATOR SUE SERINO CONTINUES ANNUAL ‘SEASON OF GIVING’ TRADITION
December 11, 2019
HYDE PARK, NY—This December, Senator Sue Serino will once again be sponsoring the annual “Season of Giving” initiative aimed at providing community members with an opportunity to give back to our local community this holiday season. Senator Serino’s Hyde Park office will serve as a donation drop site for multiple community organizations. Items will be collected for Hudson River Housing - Liberty Station, Mental Health America of Dutchess County Vet2Vet Program, Hudson Valley House of Hope and the Dutchess County SPCA. Each of these organizations plays a key role in assisting local residents, and the donations being requested will help them achieve their missions of supporting and empowering those they serve. All items collected will be distributed to local community members in need by the designated organization.
Senator Sue Serino said, “We are so fortunate to live in an area that truly values our sense of community and never hesitates to give back and support our neighbors in need. Each year, I am always amazed by the outpouring of generosity throughout our ‘Season of Giving’ initiative, and I look forward to working with our neighbors again this year to help make it the biggest yet. These organizations go above and beyond to empower local residents, and we are proud to have the opportunity to help pay it forward and support them in their endeavors.”
Donations will be accepted from now until December 30th and can be dropped off at Senator Serino’s Hyde Park Office, located at 4254 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
