Kaminsky Organizes Back-to-School Supply Drive
August 2, 2019
(Rockville Centre, New York) - Senator Todd Kaminsky has organized a Back to School Supply Drive to prepare students who may not have access to necessary supplies for the first day of school. Suggested donations include backpacks (new or gently used), No. 2 pencils, pens, notebooks, folders, crayons, colored pencils, rulers, safety scissors and binders.
“Many students do not have access to the essential school supplies they need to be successful,” said Senator Todd Kaminsky. “And we all know that when communities band together, great things happen. This school supply drive is a small investment that will make a big impact in helping the students of our community achieve their full potential.”
Donations will be accepted from now until September 6, and can be dropped off at Senator Kaminsky’s district office, located at 55 Front Street, Rockville Centre, NY. Questions? Contact Halie Meyers at 516-766-8383 or at meyers@nysenate.gov.
