Senators Kaminsky and Martinez Appointed to Senate Leadership

(Albany, New York) — Senators Todd Kaminsky and Monica Martinez were appointed to the leadership committee of the NYS Senate Majority Conference today by Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, demonstrating the majority’s strong commitment to Long Island.
Kaminsky, who represents communities in Nassau County, will serve as the conference’s Liaison to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s Office. Martinez, who represents communities in Suffolk County, was named the Assistant Majority Leader on Intergovernmental Affairs.
“It will be a privilege to assist and advise Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, and the rest of the majority conference, as we craft a progressive agenda for New York State, that also focuses on delivering for our suburbs,” said Senator Todd Kaminsky.
“I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as Assistant Majority Leader on Intergovernmental Affairs alongside Majority Leader, Andrea Stewart-Cousins. I thank the Majority Leader for her guidance and I look forward to fulfilling the duties of this additional role with dedication and pride as I represent the good people of Long Island,” said Senator Monica R. Martinez.
