Important Voting Information for Senate District 35

With Election Day just two months away, I wanted you to have the latest information about voting in Westchester.  Eligible voters have 3 different ways to cast their ballot.

You can vote by mail by requesting an absentee ballot. And you can do that now. If this is how you plan to vote, don’t wait to request the ballot.  The deadline is October 27th, but the Westchester County Board of Elections has already received thousands of requests that they have to process.

To request an absentee ballot and for all the information you need to vote by mail, click here.  Once completed you can fax, mail, or deliver it to the Westchester County Board of Elections.

When you get your ballot, be aware of possible post office delays, so mail it back as soon as you can.  They all must be postmarked no later than November 3.  If you cannot mail your ballot, you can give it to someone who can mail it for you or who can deliver it to the Board of Elections. Absentee ballots can also be dropped off at any Early Voting Place or at a November 3rd Polling Place.

Election Day Voting is November 3, and polls will be open from 6am to 9pm. The Board of Elections’ goal is to open up as many regular polling places as possible.

If you are not registered to vote, click here for registration forms.  Completed forms must be postmarked by October 9 or delivered to the Board of Elections by that date.

If you have moved within Westchester, the Board of Elections must get your new address by October 14.
