Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins' Statement on House Passing Bill to Ban Oil Barge Anchorages on the Lower Hudson River

"The Senate Majority has been working for years to clean up the Hudson River and banned off-shore oil drilling last year in New York State's waters. The Hudson River is a valuable natural resource and should not become a parking lot for oil barges.
