Senator Daphne Jordan advocates for the re-opening of Billiard Halls in NYS
October 2, 2020
Senator Daphne Jordan recently sent a letter to the Governor written on behalf of small business owners, and their employees, in the 43rd Senate District asking him to direct the Empire State Development Corporation (ESD) to develop a plan for the immediate reopening of billiard halls throughout New York State. Billiard halls are centered around reserved table spaces and times, and are an experience where groups stay at their table rather than coming and going from their table to other social spaces within the business. Like other recreational businesses in New York State, billiard halls are ready and willing to cooperate in providing a safe visitor experience, while working to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
Senator Jordan's correspondence to Governor Cuomo is attached with this post.
