With the first case of Coronavirus in New York State, the Legislature should approve emergency funding to combat the virus. New York can not wait on the federal government. I applaud the Governor’s work with the Trump administration to allow New York to do their own testing so it can be done quickly. If residents have questions or concerns about travel or symptoms, the State has set up a dedicated hotline. It’s important residents head the warnings from the New York State Department of Health and the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention to prevent the spread of the virus."
