January 21, 2020
Middletown, NY...Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, a community-based financial cooperative with a branch in Middletown, was among 61 recipients across New York State to be awarded funding through the New York State's Workforce Development Initiative. Governor Cuomo announced the $3.4 million in grants to 61 businesses, community colleges, and community-based organizations to, with support from SUNY community colleges, increase statewide job opportunities and train workers who would otherwise have barriers to entry.
“I congratulate Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union on this important award, which will help equip members of our local workforce with skills and expertise they need to succeed, and contribute to the economic renaissance already underway in Middletown,” said Senator Metzger (SD-42).
