(Farmingdale, NY) -- Senator Kevin Thomas today announced $4.1 Million in state funding to restore Route 29 from the Nassau-Suffolk County line to Route 24 in Nassau County.
“I am proud to have worked with the Village of Farmingdale to secure $4.1 Million in state funding to repair and renew Route 109,” said Senator Kevin Thomas. “Maintaining our local roads and highways are critical to the success of our communities and small businesses. Route 109 is a major economic thoroughfare for Farmingdale residents and visitors to the Village’s revitalized downtown area. This project will improve safety and quality of life for all residents of Nassau County. I thank Governor Andrew Cuomo for his continued commitment to revitalizing our State’s roadways.”
