ASTORIA – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris issued the following statement following Mayor Bill de Blasio’s announcement of a protected bike lane on Crescent Street between Queens Plaza and Hoyt Avenue.
“I am glad we are finally seeing better bike infrastructure in western Queens with a protected bike lane on Crescent Street. There is more work to be done, including improving bike access over our bridges, and I look forward to working with Transportation Alternatives and their Queens lead Juan Restrepo to make it happen.”
