NEW YORK STATE SENATOR MONICA R. MARTINEZ TO HOLD ANNUAL BREAST CANCER MOBILE SCREENING

(PATCHOGUE, NY): New York State Senator Monica R. Martinez , in partnership with Stony Brook Medicine, will be hosting “Pinky” the Mammogram bus at the Sayville Community Ambulance on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. All testing will be completed by a registered radiologist who specializes in mammography. The van is equipped with a waiting area, private dressing room and exam room, and all proper safety protocols will be adhered to.
This event will allow women the opportunity to put their health first. Early detection has saved the lives of countless women. With early screening, breast cancer death rates have declined forty (40) percent from 1989 to 2016 amongst women.
