Senator Helming Announces $75,000 in Funding For Infrastructure Improvement in the Town of Lansing
January 30, 2020
Continuing her aggressive efforts to improve local infrastructure, Senator Pam Helming today announced that she has successfully secured a $75,000 grant for the Town of Lansing to make critical improvements to Woodsedge Drive.
“This important funding will be used by the Town’s Highway Department to realign Woodsedge Drive, a Town road connecting to a state highway, to help make a new affordable housing complex possible. Many thanks to Senator Helming and her staff for securing this grant!” said Town Supervisor Ed Lavigne.
“This funding is key to the success of the town of Lansing community. Supervisor Lavigne and Legislator Sigler identified this as an important need for our community and I was proud to work with them to secure this critical funding. Having great partners at the local level is key as I fight for the needs of our region in Albany. We must continue to invest in our local infrastructure to drive job growth and create new opportunities. This important project accomplishes those goals and I will continue to be a strong advocate for our communities in the Wayne-Finger Lakes Region to fight for our fair share of funding,” said Senator Pam Helming.
