Senator Helming Attends Northern Central New York Volunteer Firemen's Association’s 2020 Legislative Outreach Program
January 29, 2020
CANANDAIGUA - Senator Pam Helming, with other local officials, attended the Annual Legislative Outreach Program hosted by the Northern Central New York Volunteer Firemen’s Association this past weekend at the Ontario County Public Safety Training Facility in Canandaigua.
“It was a pleasure to attend Northern Central NYVFA’s annual legislative outreach program. This was an extremely informative event as we reviewed legislative priorities that are important to our firefighters. Our volunteer firefighters and first responders do an absolutely outstanding job of serving and protecting our communities during emergencies and crises. They perform their tremendous responsibilities without expecting much in return. As we continue through the 2020 legislative session, I will work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to enact legislation and advocate for funding that is important to our first responders” Senator Helming said.
