GENEVA – Senator Pam Helming presented legislative proclamations to the honorees at the 51st annual Seneca County Chamber of Commerce dinner meeting and awards presentation. The award recipients included Bob McKeveny – Lifetime Achievement; Menzo Case – Citizen of the Year; Dr. Elizabeth Barbi – Rising Star; and Wagner Estate Vineyards – Business of the Year.
“The success of our communities depends on the people who live and work in them and to have so many distinguished and dedicated citizens in our region, is a gift that we should not take for granted. That is why I am so honored and proud to have been a part of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce dinner and awards presentation. These individuals are leaders like Menzo Case, who is always able to lend a helping hand, Bob McKeveny for his educational leadership of 27 years with the Seneca Falls School District and Dr. Elizabeth Barbi, who has turned her dreams into a reality, and businesses like the Wagner family of Wagner Vineyards, one of our area’s most exceptional small businesses and 2019 Winery of the Year. Congratulations to all of the individuals who are truly deserving of these awards. It was an absolute privilege to celebrate you and your contributions to our community,” Senator Helming said.
