ALBANY-Senator Pam Helming, along with several of her colleagues, hosted the New York Wine Industry Association’s (NYWIA) 7th Annual Sip and Sample this past Monday, February 3 in Albany.
“Sip and Sample is such a terrific event that promotes so many wines, cheeses and other food products made from around the state. It is especially exciting that this event brings a taste of the Finger Lakes to our state’s capital! The wine and grape industry is such an important contributor to the agricultural sector and to our economy, providing an estimated direct economic impact of $6.65 billion in 2019. I am proud to be a supporter of the industry and this event and thank you to the many vendors who attended including Carol and Lawrence Doolittle of Frontenac Point Vineyard and Erica Paolicelli of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation,” Senator Helming said.
