Statement from Senator Helming on Sales Tax Revenue Collection Due Date
March 19, 2020
"With sales tax revenue collections for small businesses due tomorrow, March 20, I am requesting that Governor Cuomo extend this date. In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, our small businesses are suffering significantly and many are being forced to close. Extending this due date would provide some small relief and demonstrate our support for our state's job creators. I thank the Governor for his partnership during this trying time and request that he take this necessary step to protect our local businesses."
