Senator Rachel May Announces Public Information Session for Lake Moraine/Madison Reservoir Dam

Syracuse, NY - Senator Rachel May (D-Onondaga, Madison, Oneida) announces that, at her request, the NYS Canal Corporation will be holding a public information session about the status of the Lake Moraine/Madison Reservoir dam. The session is open to all residents who would like to learn more about the status of the dam and the plans for future improvements.
The session will be held Friday, January 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hamilton Central School, 47 W Kendrick Ave, Hamilton, NY 13346, in the auditorium.
“Residents of Hamilton and surrounding areas are concerned with the future of the Lake Moraine Dam,” said Senator May. “I am pleased that the NYS Canal Corporation has heeded my request for a public meeting to discuss both the current status and what plans are in motion for future improvements to the dam. I encourage everyone with questions to attend this meeting.”
