Today, NYS Senator Daphne Jordan wrote to Governor Cuomo urging his Administration to finally fix the problems with a state program that's supposed to be helping landlords. Senator Jordan shared in her letter that she has heard from countless landlords in her 43rd Senate District, and all across the state, regarding the financial devastation they are facing due to COVID-19, the economic downturn, and state programs that are hurting, not helping. Senator Jordan noted that landlords are small businesses, face incredible financial hardships and that some landlords have not been paid rent, or received state relief, for 17 months!
