Hudson, NY – New York State Senator Daphne Jordan (R,C,I,Ref-Halfmoon) is partnering with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive for Columbia County on Thursday, August 12, from 1 to 6 p.m., at the Hudson Elks #787. Appointments for blood donations need to be made online. Individuals wishing to take part in the community blood drive should visit redcrossblood.org to book their appointment.
“Blood donors save lives and the need for blood donations is especially urgent given the severe nationwide shortage that we’re experiencing. I’m proud to partner with the American Red Cross to provide this community-based blood drive and encourage everyone who can give blood to please register online for our blood drive. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Hudson Elks #787 on August 12 for this important event,” Senator Daphne Jordan said.
