OLEAN – Sen. George Borrello will hold a town hall meeting Tuesday, Aug. 31, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the John J. Ash Community Center, 112 N. Barry St., Olean.
“Getting feedback from everyone in my district is incredibly important to me. This town hall meeting is a chance for folks to tell me their thoughts and concerns and ask me about what’s going on in Albany,” Sen. Borrello said. “I also want to share the initiatives and legislation I’m working on in Albany.
“These are unprecedented, tumultuous times in our great state. Experience has taught me that there is no challenge we cannot overcome, if we work together. I’m looking forward to hearing from everyone at the town hall and benefitting from their advice.”
Assemblyman Joe Giglio, 148th District, and City of Olean Mayor Bill Aiello will also be on hand for the town hall meeting.
“I’m very grateful they are both able to attend,” Sen. Borrello said. “Since I joined the Senate, Assemblyman Giglio, Mayor Aiello and I have worked together for the community. As crazy as politics in Albany are, in the district, we know that working together benefits everyone.”
Encompassing 4,139 square miles, the 57th Senate District is one of the state’s largest and includes Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties plus eight towns in Livingston County.
