SENATOR LIU, CHAMPIONS MARTIAL ARTS INTL, OPERATION CHILD RESCUE, PS 242Q, AND MS 379Q PRESENT TOY DONATIONS TO MILITARY FAMILIES OF THE U.S. ARMY’S 77TH SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE AT FORT TOTTEN
Bayside, NY – Senator John Liu today concluded his 2021 Holiday Toy Drive with the donation of thousands of toys to families of soldiers at the 77th Sustainment Brigade in Fort Totten, Queens. Toy donations were collected throughout the month of December at the office of Senator Liu in Bayside, as well as at area schools PS 242Q and MS 379Q, Champions Martial Arts schools, and by Operation Child Rescue.
Senator John Liu stated, “Our community was eager to give back to help the families of our hometown soldiers this holiday season as was clearly evidenced by the thousands of toy donations that came pouring in every day this month. We are extremely grateful for this outpouring of kindness. I’m very proud to say that nobody gives back like our community!”
Toy donations will benefit hundreds of military families stationed out of the 77th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens. The majority of soldiers will be deployed this holiday season.
