(Hempstead, NY) — New York State Senator Kevin Thomas (D-Levittown) hosted a Community Clergy Breakfast on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church of Hempstead. The topic was federal grants for clergy, money that can help faith-based community organizations deliver vital community services and develop projects that would be beneficial to their congregations and beyond.
The event featured two informative presentations from Reverend Que English, Deputy Director of Faith Based Initiatives at NYS Governor's Office of Faith Based Community and Development Services, and Darrelle Forde, Vice President of Single Family Programs at New York State Homes & Community Renewal.
