Senator Helming statement on CDC’s revised guidance on social distancing in schools
March 19, 2021
“This is a huge step forward to getting our schools fully reopened. Now the state has no more excuses. Dr. Zucker, it is time for you to put our students first. Update the state’s guidance and help our schools reopen. I am also hopeful this will lead to relaxing restrictions in other areas, including for music and the arts,” said Senator Helming.
The CDC on Friday revised its guidance on social distancing in schools, saying most students can now sit three feet apart instead of six feet, while wearing masks.
