Senator Gallivan Announces Funding for Clean Water Project in Village of Arcade

Senator Patrick M. Gallivan (R-C-I, Elma) says the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation has approved $784,441 in long-term, interest free financing for sanitary sewer improvements in the Village of Arcade. The funding is part of a total of $26.7 million in grants, interest-free loans and low-cost loans to support vital water quality infrastructure projects across New York State.
"This funding helps support the Village and allows it to provide critical upgrades to its sewer system," Senator Gallivan said. "The investment will improve service for residents and help protect water quality in the community."
The Board's approval includes financing through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and grants pursuant to the Water Infrastructure Improvement Act.

The financings are subject to the Public Authorities Control Board's approval and are scheduled for consideration at PACB's meeting in July.
