Rochester, NY - Today, Senator Samra Brouk had the honor of meeting with staff and leadership of Compeer Rochester, who operate a vital veterans’ mental health service program in Monroe County. Compeer’s PFC Dwyer Program, created to honor PFC Joseph P Dwyer who was diagnosed with PTSD related to his service in Iraq, provides essential services and supports to veterans suffering from mental illness and mental health crises.
“I am fighting for funding for programs in our community like Compeer's PFC Dwyer Program,” stated Senator Brouk.
“It was a pleasure to meet with Compeer’s staff today and learn more about the incredible work they are doing to support veterans and their families. I look forward to working with Compeer and other organizations in the 55th District to increase the availability of and access to these essential services.”
