July 20, 2021
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Senator Sue Serino continued her ‘Small Business Bounce Back’ listening tour in the City of Poughkeepsie in an effort to learn more about the ways the pandemic affected small business owners and area employers and how the state can effectively empower them to rebuild in the pandemic’s wake.
“As our community works to rebuild, the needs of our small businesses must be met in order for us to effectively ‘bounce back,’” said Senator Sue Serino. “Since launching the ‘Small Business Bounce Back’ tour, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the struggles area employers faced over the past year and a half, and how we can better assist them as we look toward the future. The City of Poughkeepsie is home to so many unique and resilient small businesses, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to hear from them firsthand, and I look forward to continuing this listening tour throughout the Senate District.”
