HYDE PARK, NY – Senator Sue Serino today was officially sworn-in for her fourth term as State Senator, representing the 41st Senate District. Serino was honored to have been sworn in by Dutchess County Family Court Judge Joseph Egitto at her Senate Office in Hyde Park.
“Despite the unprecedented challenges that our communities are facing, New Yorkers have remained resilient, and now more than ever they need a government determined to deliver results,” said Senator Sue Serino. “I’ve been committed to protecting our small businesses, better serving our veterans, advocating for our seniors, and making the Hudson Valley a place for individuals and families to grow, and I remain focused on continuing that critical work over this next term. More importantly, I look forward to doing all that I can to help our community, and our state, get back on track as we work to fight against and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Ahead of the 2021-2022 Legislative Session which is scheduled to begin Wednesday, January 6th, Serino joined her colleagues in supporting the “Restart, Rethink and Renew Agenda,” a conference plan that focuses on resetting the state’s priorities to ensure that government works for all New Yorkers. The proposal includes initiatives that prioritize restarting our local economies, rethinking how New York State operates, and renewing a commitment to New York State’s residents to ensure strong, robust communities.

Serino concluded, “I am so humbled by the support and confidence that has been placed in me to represent our community, and I remain forever grateful to our neighbors for giving me the opportunity to serve. New Yorkers need a government they can count on, and together, I know we will continue to rebuild and revitalize our community, and our state.”
