STATEMENT FROM SENATOR SUE SERINO
March 19, 2021
HYDE PARK, NY— In response to yet another allegation of sexual harassment being made against the Governor and a new allegation of sexual harassment being made against Republican Congressman Tom Reed today, Senator Sue Serino released the statement below:
“These incredibly disturbing allegations speak directly to a culture where power seems to protect and embolden bad actors. Enough is enough. It is painfully clear that we must do more to put an immediate and final end to the culture of corruption and secrecy that has silenced victims for far too long. I stand ready to work alongside my colleagues to ensure that our state is a place where survivors are heard, perpetrators are held accountable and all New Yorkers feel safe from harassment of any kind.”
