Stec, Assemblymembers Welcome State Champion AuSable Valley Girls Soccer Team to Albany

                Senator Dan Stec (R,C-Queensbury) and Assemblymembers Matt Simpson (R,C,I-Horicon) and Billy Jones (D-Chateaugay Lake) welcomed the AuSable Valley Girls Soccer team to the state Capitol on Monday. The team was honored on the floor of both the Senate and Assembly chambers and were presented with official state Legislative Resolutions to commemorate their victory in the Class C State Championship this past fall. 

            “It was an honor having the AuSable Valley Girls Soccer team here in Albany,” said Senator Stec. “It was great meeting with them and having the chance to celebrate their victory over Carle Place last fall on the Senate floor. Congratulations again to the AuSable Valley Patriots on their major accomplishment!” 

            “It was an honor to welcome the AuSable Valley Girls Soccer Team to the Assembly floor to recognize their achievements. Congratulations on being the 2021 New York State Class C Champions and good luck next season to all those returning," said Simpson. "Way to bring home the win for the North Country!”  

            “Congratulations once again to the AuSable Valley Varsity Girls Soccer team!” said Jones. “You made the North Country proud last season when you brought home the Class C State Championship title, and it was a pleasure showing you around the Capitol to celebrate your victory.”
