Statement from Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C-Glenville) On Assembly Sending Schoharie Limo Crash Task Force Bill to Governor
April 27, 2022
“I’m heartened the Assembly Speaker heeded my call and today sent to the Governor to review and sign legislation S.7563/A.8493A una
“There’s a pending report from the state Inspector General on potential state malfeasance regarding oversight of the limo company involved in the Schoharie crash that could be released at any time and we’ve now become aware of an internal FBI investigation of the crash. It’s critical the Task Force has the extra time to review all these findings and then schedule a public hearing to hear as many voices and experts as possible so they can issue their own report and policy recommendations to the Governor and Legislature so we can take additional steps to prevent something like this from ever happening again.”
