Throughout the month of June State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. went to several graduation ceremonies for schools across his district. Addabbo spoke at the ceremonies for M.S. 137, P.S./I.S. 119, P.S. 161, P.S./I.S. 128, Channel View School for Research, and Maspeth High School.
“It was an honor to get to speak to the students at these graduation ceremonies,” Addabbo said. “The last two years have been difficult for not only our students, but the faculty and staff, and the parents, so this graduation — several of them their first in-person graduation ceremonies since the start of COVID — was for all of them, too. Whether the kids are moving from grammar school to middle school, middle school to high school, or high school to college, this is a great achievement and should be celebrated. With the hard work they have shown thus far, they have the ability to do anything they put their minds to. I wish all 2022 graduates the best in their futures.”
