Addabbo funds new Blue Door training equipment to local FDNY station

On Thursday, September 15, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. visited FDNY Engine331/Ladder173 on Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach to see the new Blue Door training equipment that he was able to fund. The firefighters showed the Senator how the training door works and even allowed him to try his hand at the training exercise.

“It was a great time visiting Engine33/Ladder173 to see their new Blue Door training equipment,” Addabbo said. “It was my pleasure to help fund this piece of equipment and to see the firefighters in action using it. This is just a small way I can say thank you to the brave men and women of the FDNY.”
