“The month of March is Women’s History Month, and it encourages us to remember and honor the women that have helped shape our country, state, and city,” State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. said. “Throughout the course of American history, women have played a vital positive role in creating the society that we see today. It is during Women’s History Month that we highlight these amazing women. I truly admire the many women who work tirelessly at balancing a work and home life. I am inspired everyday by the women in my life: my mother, my wife and my two daughters. I wish everyone a happy Women’s History Month!”
