BROOKLYN, NY (6/13/22) –On June 11th State Senator Kevin Parker and the City University of New York (CUNY) collaborated at Brooklyn College for their annual free citizenship application assistance event “CUNY CitizenshipNow!” In partnership with New York State Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte and New York City Councilwoman Farah Louis, attendees were provided with free and confidential one-on-one consultations with highly competent immigration attorneys and paralegals to assess their immigration and naturalization needs.
“I want residents in my district and the surrounding areas to be aware of the resources that are available to them, while navigating the burdensome naturalization process. It is imperative that good quality immigration resources are made available. I applaud Citizenship Now! for their partnership and the work they do all year around,” concluded the Brooklyn lawmaker.
