Senator Helming is inviting her young constituents to participate in the 2022 Summer Reading Program. School-age children who read three or more books during the summer months will receive a personalized Certificate of Achievement from Senator Helming.
Parents or guardians can enter their child’s name and books read on Senator Helming’s website at helming.nysenate.gov. Click here to register today! The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2022.
“Encouraging children to read gives them an opportunity to explore, go on adventures, and learn new things. During the summer months, it’s important to keep a love of reading and learning going strong. Children and families are encouraged to participate in my Summer Reading program. Visit your local libraries for endless reading options. Summer is a great time to dive into a good book!” said Senator Helming.
