“A year ago this week I came out in support of survivors telling us that a powerful man, a governor, abused his power and sexually harassed them. I proudly voted today to pass legislation to strengthen the rights of employees when employers refuse to take accountability, with explicit human rights and anti-retaliation protections for public and state employees.
“All workers deserve a safe, respectful, harassment-free workplace. No one is above the law.”
