New York State Senator Simcha Felder (D-Brooklyn) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Grant program in New York State that will provide grants of up to $25,000 for small businesses that opened shortly before or during the COVID-19 pandemic. The New York State Seed Funding Grant Program is providing flexible grants to support early-stage small businesses as they continue to grow, while promoting our State's economic recovery from the pandemic era.
“Small businesses are essential to our economy and to every thriving neighborhood. While some small businesses have been able to access governmental assistance grants, many newly formed businesses have not. This important grant program will provide much-needed relief to newer businesses as they recover and succeed in today’s post-pandemic economy.”
The New York State Seed Funding Grant Program is open to businesses that started on or after September 1, 2018 and have an annual revenue up to $1,000,000. To apply or for more information on eligibility, visit www.nyseedgrant.com.
“New York businesses were hit hard during the pandemic, but with this funding, we are helping new businesses continue to operate and expand. I encourage all eligible small business owners to take full advantage of this program and apply before time runs out!” said Senator Felder.
