Skoufis Strengthens Community Bonds at Annual BBQ and Resource Fair

Senator James Skoufis (D-Orange County) extended a warm welcome to Orange County residents this past Saturday while hosting his annual BBQ and community resource fair in the City of Middletown’s Erie Way Park. Hosted in partnership with TD Bank and the City of Middletown, the event brought together a diverse array of 35 small businesses, local vendors, and organizations to celebrate community and connect residents to the myriad of invaluable constituent resources available in Orange County.

Festivities commenced with tunes by local DJ, Vargas Productions, as residents enjoyed complimentary hotdogs, burgers, sweet treats, and more. Families enjoyed a wide range of activities such as face painting, dancing, and access to a gaming truck featuring popular video games. 

“It is an absolute delight to connect with our neighbors in this way,” said Skoufis. “Witnessing local families, organizations, and small businesses join forces to engage and support their community is truly commendable. The spirit of generosity displayed by our Senate District is nothing short of remarkable, and I look forward to continuing to support them in every way I can”.
