Addabbo's offices have free COVID test to giveaway to the community

State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. has announced that both of his district offices in Middle Village and Woodhaven have new COVID test kits to distribute to the community for free.

“I have received a new shipment of COVID tests that I am giving away at both of my district offices,” Addabbo said. “If you or your family want some free test kits, come by and get them.”

Addabbo’s Middle Village office is located at 66-85 73rd Place in Middle Village, and his Woodhaven office is at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. Both offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All test kits will be given out on a first come, first served basis. To be fair to everyone who may want one, the kits will be limited to one kit (containing two tests) per person, per visit. 

“With the worst of the COVID pandemic behind us and many of the restrictions lifted, we may believe that we are safe from contracting COVID, but that is not true,” Addabbo said. “While COVID isn’t killing thousands of people a day anymore, it is still dangerous especially for those with compromised immune systems, so it is important that we still take precautions like washing and sanitizing your hands and taking a COVID test when you’re not feeling well.”
