Addabbo Encourages Giving During the Holidays; His Office is Collecting Toys, Toiletries, Socks and Coats for Those in Need

During this festive time of year, it is truly better to give than to receive. With that in mind, Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. has made his offices drop off locations for charitable and community organizations collecting goods for the less fortunate. Community members can drop off new unwrapped toys, toiletries, socks and lightly worn coats during normal business hours at his Woodhaven Office, located at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica or his Middle Village Office at 66-85 73rd Place in Middle Village. Community Board 9 - Winter Wonderland Toy Donation Drive – Please donate new toys for children ages 0-13, now through Friday, December 8, 2023.
Solution to Hunger, Inc. is hosting a Toiletry and Sock Drive, now through Monday, December 11, 2023. They are collecting shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, body wash, perfume, cologne, diapers, baby powder, baby wipes, feminine products, deodorant, combs, brushes, floss, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and socks.
Queens Chronicle 27th Annual Holiday toy Drive – Please bring in new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children and teens in Queens homeless shelters, now through Monday, December 18, 2023.
New York Cares is hosting a coat drive, and they ask for gently worn coats to help someone in need this winter stay warm. The last day to donate is Friday, December 22, 2023.
