Brooklyn, NY- NYS Senator Kevin Parker attended the highly anticipated CABS 5th Annual Gala commemorated under the theme, "Celebrating Self-Care." In praising CABS' commitment to self-care and community wellness, Senator Parker stated, "It is an honor to be part of an event that highlights the importance of self-care, particularly during these challenging times. CABS has consistently demonstrated dedication to addressing our community's evolving needs, and I commend its efforts to destigmatize mental health issues. By prioritizing self-care, we can build stronger, more resilient communities."
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities, CABS remains committed to addressing the changing needs of the community by recognizing the significance of mental health in the healthcare continuum. Throughout the evening, the gala highlighted the importance of destigmatizing mental health issues and providing resources to address them preventively rather than solely in high-acuity situations.

CABS Health Network (CABSHN) was established in 1979 as CABS Home Attendants Service Inc., with a mission to provide home care services to elderly and disabled residents of Brooklyn, New York. Over the years, the organization has evolved to address the community's changing needs, adapting its services to ensure the well-being of all its clients.

Senator Kevin S.
