NYS Senator Luis Sepúlveda on the Judiciary Committee Hearing on Chief Judge Nomination, the Honorable Judge Hector LaSalle

It is with great satisfaction that I receive the news that the public committee hearing for the Chief Judge Nomination has been scheduled for this coming Wednesday, January 18th at 10:00 am in the Senate Judiciary Committee – of which I am a member. 

This hearing is of the utmost importance at a unique and historic time in our state. The Honorable Judge LaSalle has been nominated for his qualifications and will finally have the opportunity to answer questions about his credentials and judicial record. I am confident that in keeping with the tradition of respect that characterizes the New York State Senate, the Judge will be treated in a manner befitting his investiture.
