Democrats are in control of the Senate, Assembly and the Governor’s office. Yet they still can’t agree on a budget.
Delay is detrimental to school districts, municipalities and non-profit organizations that are waiting on the state so they can finalize their own budgets. And to taxpayers who deserve a government that meets its constitutional obligations.
The budget is a financial document. Policy discussions should take place in the open and with the input of our constituents.
I think we all need to ask ourselves: How’s one-party rule working for you?
