Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick Honors Local Veterans In Inaugural “Veterans Hall of Fame” Ceremony In Malverne

This event paid tribute to extraordinary veterans who have exhibited exceptional qualities in their commitment to both their country and local communities. The list of honorees included several posthumous acknowledgements that were accepted by surviving family members and friends.
“As the daughter and granddaughter of veterans, I believe it is imperative that we continue to uplift them and commend their courageous acts of service to our nation. It was my distinct privilege to honor so many distinguished veterans. Hosting this ceremony was simply a small way to recognize the incredible sacrifices that they have made,” said Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick.
“It is our obligation to recognize the sacrifices that our men and women in the military and their families have made for us. We are grateful that Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick has taken the lead in celebrating all of their accomplishments – both on and off the battlefield – in protecting our country and continuing their service for the betterment of our local communities,” said Mayor Tim Sullivan, of the Incorporated Village of Malverne.

Seipp, Howard Kalachman, John Donald, Joseph Canzoneri, Joseph Mazzitelli, JW Cortes, Loeb Rubenstein, Louis Fiorentino, Luke Magliaro, Jr, Mark Getman, Matthew Frangos, Michael A. Valente, Michael O'Rourke, Phyllis Zagano, Stephen Gormley, Thomas Nasta, Vincent "Jimmy" Lijoi, & William P. Marinaccio.
Additionally, the Northwell Health Military Liaison Services department was presented with the “Outstanding Veterans’ Services Award” for their incredible outreach services to veterans and their families.
