Senator Gallivan Assigned to Multiple Senate Committees

Senator Patrick M. Gallivan, (R-C, Elma) has been assigned to serve on a total of six committees in the New York State Senate for the legislative session that began January 4, 2023.
Senator Gallivan has been re-appointed the Ranking Member of the Senate Standing Committee on Health and will also serve as the Ranking Member of the Senate Standing Committee on Crime Victims, Crime and Correction.
Senator Gallivan will also serve as a member of Senate Standing Committees on Finance; Transportation; Codes; and Rules.
"I am honored to serve in a leadership role on both the Health Committee and the Committee on Crime Victims, Crime and Correction, two of the most active committees in the Legislature,” Senator Gallivan said. “As another legislative session gets underway, I am anxious to work with my colleagues on all of the committees to which I have been assigned."
Senator Gallivan will also continue to serve in a leadership role within the Senate Minority Conference as Senate Minority Whip.
In the past, Senator Gallivan served as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Crime Victims, Crime and Correction; the Senate Committee on Social Services; and the Committee on Commerce, Economic Development, and Small Business. He also served as Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee.
