Our conference has continually called for better investment in mental health services and restoring public safety - both played a role in this horrible tragedy.
Rather than weighing in on behalf of someone with 40 + arrests or calling for the indictment of a US Marine, politicians should focus on fixing these issues and let the justice system play out as it’s intended to.
