Statement From Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt On the Announcement of Senator Mark Walczyk’s Deployment

The announcement of Senator Walczyk’s deployment to Kuwait is an example of true American patriotism. Senator Walczyk is a fighter for his constituents back home, and now he is once again fighting for our nation’s interest overseas. Although we will miss seeing him in Albany during his deployment, Senator Walczyk’s office is staffed with dedicated employees who will continue to handle constituent-related matters of Senate District 49. Our conference is proud to have a dedicated public servant and American soldier like Mark within our ranks. We salute him and wish him well.
